Topic: Only if you post political opinions on Twitter

This may simply be someone trying to create some excitement in their own life, and indulging in some odd "power trip" - but I thought I'd mention this, since it was brought to my attention by a Patriot friend...
If you visit this user's profile, you will find that ALL entries say:

#iamthemob @USERNAME [REAL NAME, ADDRESS] -> Your message and profile have been stored.

It appears that they are first targeting those using the Twitter hashtag #iamthemob (hashtags are basically search terms, that twitter users can use to find more into on topics, or like minded people who are discussing the same topic)

Personally, I chose to BLOCK this Twitter user from all of my Twitter profiles. Below is some basic info about how to do that, as requested by a couple of PyraBang users when I first mentioned in our shout that this was happening on Twitter...

Suggestion: BLOCK @mobwatch Please RT if you agree...

This user is creating a database of usernames and comments expressing political opinions - particularly those having to do with freedom of speech, the right to assemble, or protesting. (such as Tea Parties, Town Hall Meetings, etc)
They have not said what they intend to DO with this database, but I suspect they are participating in the White House SNITCH programs - or would at least like us to BELIEVE that they are...

To BLOCK a Twitter user, click the page-top link (on your twitter page) called "Find People".
Type in their username - in this case: mobwatch
Once you are on their profile page, if you agree that you do not want this person to see your Twitter posts, (so that they can add you to their database), look at the right side of the page, under where it has their user name.
Under "Actions" click BLOCK mobwatch.
Click the "Yes, I'm sure" confirmation, when it asks you to verify that you want to block that user.
That's all there is to it. It only takes a minute to do, and it will prevent this user from seeing your future Twitter comments and posts...

To "RT" on Twitter is simply to share another user's message.
RT means "retweet" - basic "twitterspeak" for repeating something.
As a courtesy to the original poster, if a twitter post is copied and pasted in, to share with your followers, you use this format:
RT @username (of the person you got the info from)
If anyone has any more specific questions, feel free to PM me...

I simply added the following line to my Twitter posts:

Suggestion: BLOCK @mobwatch Please RT if you agree...

I am sharing this information because I feel that Twitter users have a right to know that someone - who DOES NOT give their own real name or address - is building a database which includes the REAL NAMES and ADDRESSES of other Twitter users - who are proud Patriots and have not hidden their own identities - who are expressing political opinions.

Shock, you can simply post/"tweet":

Suggestion: BLOCK @mobwatch Please RT if you agree...

I only included the info about "retweeting" because someone had asked about it yesterday ;)

If you want to attribute it with a "retweet", you can use:

RT @TorquedPatriot Suggestion: BLOCK @mobwatch Please RT if you agree...

Either one is fine. The important thing, in my opinion, it to let folks know that this is going on...

THANK YOU to everyone who is helping spread the word about this...
What this person is doing seems pretty evil to me...

For those who are interested, there is now another "profile tracker"
to BLOCK on Twitter:

BLOCK @TCOTIntelServ

Their profile info says:
* Name: Privacy Advice
* Bio: Acorn security services and twitter investigation team

They're doing the same thing - building a database of Twitter usernames and posts expressing political opinions.

Example posts from their profile:

# @XXX, Your Message and profile has been recorded for later review. Thankyou.. #tcot8 minutes ago from API in reply to XXX

#
@XXXX, Your concerns will be refered to the SEIU. Thankyou for your cooperation.. #tcot12 minutes ago from API in reply to XXXX

...of course, where I have put XXX, THEY have the real usernames of Twitter users...

I suggest that you BLOCK them from reading your profile, then spread the word.

"Tweet" (Post on Twitter):

BLOCK @TCOTIntelServ
OR
RT @TorquedPatriot Suggestion: BLOCK @TCOTIntelServ Please RT if you agree...

I think twitter is way over-rated. I don't use it much at all. I'm sure some will disagree with me. It is also becoming a haven for the adult industry.

LOL, ozarksales! Yup, they seem to be some pretty "talented" folks...

I have only been using Twitter for a few months, NetMoney, and I know that many folks have no interest in it - BUT there are something like two-million-plus people using it, world-wide, so I do NOT rule it out as an information dissemination platform.

I am simply offering this information as a "warning" to those who DO choose to use Twitter to post their politically-oriented links and opinions.

They deserve to know that they are being stalked and monitored, in an attempt to silence their free expression of opinions and information.

VICTORY Number One!

The MobWatch Twitter account has been suspended due to fishy activity! - LOL!

Searching for the username now shows:

"mobwatch Mob WatchConservative Collective Intelligence
0 followers ยท updated 12:49 PM Aug 12th"

and clicking on that username, rather than taking you to their profile/database of usernames, real names and locations of Twitter users,
and those users' posts (Tweets), now gives THIS result:

"Who goes there?

Sorry, the account you were headed to has been suspended due to strange activity. Mosey along now, nothing to see here.

Suspended account

All done here?

Take me home!

...or if you're curious as to why an account might be suspended, head over this way for the juicy details."

Clicking on the "juicy details" link simply takes you to the standard Twitter page, outlining Violations of Terms Of Service, and info on how to "contest the suspension of your account"...

THANK YOU to Tokyoteaman for the "heads up" on this development!
